Dr. Matthew Capozzi

DPM, FACFAS, CWS

Dr. Capozzi is a board-certified foot surgeon through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Wound Management and Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He completed a three-year residency program in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT in 2010. Dr. Capozzi is a board-certified Wound Specialist® granted by the American Academy of Wound Management. He is also board-certified in Foot Surgery through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Adam Mayerson

MD, Yale New Haven Hospital, Yale School of Medicine

Dr. Mayerson currently serves as the Associate Chief of Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital and as an Associate Professor at Yale School of Medicine. He has been practicing endocrinology and internal medicine for 20 years and has been consistently named to Connecticut’s Top Doctors list throughout his career. Dr. Mayerson received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed both his residency and fellowship at Yale. He is currently the lead investigator on Circufiber’s clinical trial at Yale studying the benefits of Infrared textiles on people living with diabetes.

Dr. Franklin R. Polun

Founder, National Capitol Foot and Ankle Center DPM, FACFAS, DABFAS

Dr. Polun is a board-certified ankle and foot surgeon serving patients in the greater Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Dr. Polun is the founder and director of National Capital Foot & Ankle Center. He serves as a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and is a member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Polun is consistently ranked among the top doctors in the greater Washington D.C. metropolitan area and has been named one of America’s best podiatrists by the Consumer Advisory Board.

Erin Kelly

M.Ed, RN, BSN, CDCES, Joslin Diabetes Center

Ms. Kelly currently serves as Clinical Manager of Educational Services at Joslin Diabetes Center and is an accomplished Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. Erin has over 10 years of experience as a diabetic educator as well as medical and surgical experience in orthopedics, public health, home health, school nursing and endocrinology. She is also a Certified Insulin Pump Trainer and member of the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES).
